 The drop-off recycling program will experience exciting changes as CVWMA unveils new drop-off recycling containers on July 1, 2007. The new containers will feature the signature CVWMA bright green color and will be more user-friendly. Openings on the containers have been increased in size for convenience and doors have been added to prevent material from blowing out while the containers are being transported to the recycling facility. The newspaper collection bins will now also accept magazines and catalogs.
 Additionally, new decals have been designed to instruct citizens on proper preparation of accepted items and placement of the materials into the appropriate openings in the bins. These decals feature illustrations and descriptive text to clearly communicate which materials are accepted in the recycling program. The design also prominently features CVWMA contact information for the website and recycling hotline, should a citizen have a question or other need concerning use of the recycling program. Be on the look out for these new containers around town and let us know what you think of the new design.

Congratulations to the winners of our Win with Your Bin contest. Our grand prize winner was Kimberlyn Towles of Chesterfield. She received a cash prize of $250. The following people were selected as daily winners and each received a cash prize of $50 for participating in our curbside recycling contest during the month of May.
