E-cycling Partnership With Ukrop's
CVWMA is excited to partner with Ukrop’s to make electronics recycling more convenient for area citizens. Recycle your unwanted electronic devices at a CVWMA event in April and you could win one of six $100 Ukrop's gift cards! A complete list of all collection events and accepted items can be found on our website. Events are open to citizens, businesses, schools, and non-profit organizations. You do not need to be located in the county or city of the event to participate. Join our electronics recycling interest list and we'll send you an email when future collections are scheduled.
Win with Your Bin
It pays to recycle! CVWMA is sponsoring Win with Your Bin, a recycling incentive contest open to all citizens eligible for curbside recycling collection. The contest will award cash prizes to participants with properly prepared recycling bins set out on their assigned collection day. CVWMA recycling bins are not required for participation. Items may be placed at the curb in a paper grocery bags or other accepted containers, but must be prepared correctly with no contamination.
Tips for a Winning Bin
Do include:
   • Glass jars
   • Metal Cans & Foil
   • "Narrow neck" plastic bottles with a 1 or 2 symbol

Do NOT include:
   • Plastic bags
   • Styrofoam

Each collection day during the contest period, CVWMA will select two entrants and visit their homes to examine recycling bins before collection. All daily winners are eligible for the grand prize drawing of $250 and a recycling prize pack, which will be awarded on or about June 4th.

All entrants must be adults aged 18 or older and the primary resident of a home eligible to receive curbside recycling collection from CVWMA. One entry per person is allowed.
